Author spotlight: Anyta Sunday

We got to sit down (well, e-sit-down) with Berlin, Germany resident (and former Pittsburgher) Anyta Sunday, author of the upcoming “Liam Davis & The Raven”, set in our fair city. You won’t believe the scandalous questions we asked, and Ms. Sunday’s answers…

Q: The famous Pittsburgh nightlife plays a big role in your new book – which clubs or parties did you enjoy in your time here?
A: I wasn’t a stranger in any of the clubs on Liberty, but my favorite still has to be “Cryptions”. I bow to the Cathedral of Yearning.

Q: And how about your new home, Berlin? I’ve heard some pretty tall tales from there.
A: Yeah, this place has it all: you hand in your pants at the club’s door, and on your way home you’ll meet (avoid) the guy on the train that forgot to pick his up on the way out.

Q: Can I ask you for a spoiler: we all are dying to know – who is the Raven?
A: You have to read the book to find THAT out, but I can tell you that the pen truly is mightier than the sword, and Liam will prove that.

Q: Oh, more suspense. I can’t wait to finally find out! So when can we read your latest work?
A: Soon, very soon! It’ll be out some time in March!

Thank you so much for your time, Ms. Sunday! Liam Davis & The Raven is out in March 2014!
